Richard is back from a very successful European Tour with Genesis band the Carpet Crawlers! The tour kicked off in Dartford, moving to Belgium, Germany, Switzerland & finishing at De Boerderij (Holland). Richard used his Yamaha Maple Custom kit with a Sonor snare & Tama Octobans & was pleased to see the next drummer to play at De Boerderij was Steve Gadd...!! The last show was filmed & there are already some other video clips from various shows online. More info soon at www.carpetcrawlers.com.

There is still a chance to catch the band at Liverpool Stanley Theatre on saturday 20th November.

August 2010
Rich Kenyon's debut solo album "Something For The Week" appeared in August 2010 edition of Rhythm Magazine: "Richard has grand ambition here...Well done!" Full album info here.

Rich also recently joined the Carpet Crawlers band, playing the music of prog-rock great Genesis. Visit www.carpetcrawlers.com for details of their European Tour this Autumn. Rich commented "It's a great challenge to to play this music - especially considering I didn't know any of it!! Quite why I hadn't properly checked out Genesis over the years is difficult to explain, especially being such an avid fan of Yes, Marillion & Rush; but it has been beautiful to discover a wealth of great material and a real pleasure to examine Phil Collins' drumming style and also that of Chester Thomson."

April 2010 : Solo Album released!

My debut solo album “Something For The Week” is available NOW on CD or download.

12 pieces carry the album to 78mins running time & it’s packed full of surprises! My drumming features throughout of course, & it’s my first real venture into composition in anything other than a band setting.
